In fact, our tunnel allows you to reduce moisture below 20% for each pallet in less than 60 minutes and to completely sterilise pallets at a temperature above 140°C (284°F). Microwave technology exploits radiation with a frequency of 2,450 MHz and hot air ventilated at a temperature of 180°C.

Made entirely at our production plant, the wood sterilisation dryer allows you to replace traditional fumigation methods and gain many benefits from them.
Compared to traditional processes, in fact, the dryer for dielectric treatment allows to:
- Reduce the processing times (30 minutes for ISPM15 up to 90 minutes for a complete sterilisation);
- Eliminate the manual handling operations, as the oven is designed to be inserted directly into the automatic production line;
- Achieve economic savings on the handling and treatment costs per pallet (calculated approximately a-40% cost reduction for energy alone).
The ISPM15 microwave treatment methodology allows to comply with international phytosanitary measures for wood packaging materials: it is a non-chemical and non-invasive method, which guarantees safe wooden pallets, free from parasites and harmful organisms, preserving the physical and mechanical properties of the wood.
